We are getting creative for Mom's Night Out, at our sign party! This Mom's Night Out features the opportunity to get crafty in our own space. Life Expressions offers unique home decor and handcrafted wooden signs to spruce up your home. You've seen them before... sayings such as "Live, Laugh, Love" "Live well, Laugh often, Love much", etc. Normally, you buy these signs already made. But what we will do at Mom's Night Out is a bit different. Dawn Burley from Life Expressions will help you make the sign! You choose your saying, paint your board and then she will teach you how to apply the saying. The boards turn out great, and look store bought! You'll have a blast and leave with finished sign ready to hang or give as a gift. Join us for some quality time with other local single moms, while we get crafty! Your registration fee includes refreshments and all sign materials. Don't miss the fun- register today! Statistics shows that children of single mothers suffer in a variety of ways and the mothers often find themselves living in poverty and riddled with guilt or frustration. But, we are here to change the statistics.  We believe that single mothers and their children do not have to be negatively impacted by this circumstance. In fact, being "single-mom-strong: having grit and determination; refusing to fail", is not detrimental at all... Single Mom Strong exists for the empowerment of single mothers and their children through enrichment, encouragement and educational programs.  Funds raised are used to advance our mission. It is the mission of Single Mom Strong to create a community of single mothers and children in support of one another, while empowering them to be their best selves, through enrichment, encouragement and educational programs.
