Join us for the opening of the Mountain City Playhouse, March 12th from 6 PM to 10 PM, and enjoy a night of music, dancing, and fun!
The time is finally here to open the doors to the new Mountain City Playhouse. After many years of being closed, the Playhouse is finally at a point to welcome the public back to a night of music, dancing and fun. Although there is still much work to be done to get to the final point of completion, we are excited to be able to offer a great space to begin sharing the history and activities that once used to occupy this amazing and historic building. Join us for a night of music with the Fletcher Gap Band, Curtis Blackwell and the Dixie Bluegrass Boys, and The Foxfire Boys; clogging and buck dancing, food and drinks available from The Shed and The Coffee Barn and treats from Frios Blue Ridge. Bring the kids to enjoy the music and dancing or let them run, tumble, and play at the BRAT Center Open Gym located right on site. It will be a great night of reminiscing and reliving those old days of the Playhouse while enjoying some awesome music, food, and most of all, dancing. Join us as we revive a Rabun County tradition that meant so much to so many!
Advance Tickets: $15.
Tickets at the Door: $20. Senior and Student Discount with ID.
