NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck has selected the Hartford-based lobbying firm Sullivan & LeShane, Inc., "to work with the borough as a lobbyist and consultant on various downtown projects," according to officials.
The decision was unanimously approved by the Board of Mayor and Burgesses earlier this month, and will cost the borough $40,000, My Citizen News reported.
Sullivan & LeShane will assist the borough in navigating several improvement projects Naugatuck plans to pursue.
Naugatuck has several irons in the fire, so to speak, as it relates to downtown improvement projects, such as the recent decision to make an offer on the former Bank of America, and the potential creation of a truck driving school, among others.
