Looking to open our home to some birds!

Hi! I'm a stay at home/homeschool mama looking to add some new family members. We are an animal loving and respecting law enforcement family in Northern Colorado. I did bird rescue for several years and it's been too long since I've had some feathered friends tell me that the sun is going to be coming up. I've rescued and loved everything from budgies to macaws, all personality types, injuries and illnesses and loved every one during their time with me. I'm hoping to find some birds that are looking for a new home...I'm not asking for them to just be given away, but I also am not looking to pay breeder or pet store prices. We would love to open our home to cockatiels, conures, budgies, quakers or ringnecks, but I would consider any species! Hand tame isn't a requirement by any means, as my kids and I have the time to work with them on socialization and we have worked with some of the most terrified and angry birds that I have ever seen, and have been successful in gaining their trust.
