SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro recently launched a new mobile chatbot app that will allow residents to view data from the San Leandro Police Department's calls for service, My-SL 311 requests and city permits, city officials announced this week. The CITYCHAT app allows residents to view information about police calls for service, see status updates and filter information by neighborhood, date, district and other criteria. The app will also allow residents to set custom alert notifications in the area. Police calls for service will be updated on the app hourly, and My-SL and permit data will be updated daily, officials said. The app is free to use and does not require personal data.
