To the yokel: 1) Tax breaks to big corp. usually (not always) transfers into investment and jobs. FACT 2) The "rich" (1% of the pop.) pays 25.4 % higher taxes than the average citizen 3) ONLY 50% of the population pay "income taxes" THAT's a TAX on your income if employed RESULT= 50% of us are 'carrying' the weight of the 'non- working', welfare, fake SSI, fake disability folks in the country (NO, they're not all fakes) ESTIMATED Fraud = 15.6% ALSO, paying for the "illegals", free medical, education, transportation, legal, etc. About 50 percent of federal revenue comes from individual income taxes, 7 percent from corporate income taxes, and another 36 percent from payroll taxes that fund social insurance programs.
