Here are the top five stories today in Beaverton: A couple was found dead in their Bethany home on the afternoon of Feb. 24 in an apparent murder-suicide. Washington County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 4200 block of Northwest Oxbridge Drive to find the bodies of Michael P. Getty,56, and Mary B. Getty, 55. Deputies say it appears Michael Getty killed his wife before killing himself, although an investigation is underway. (Washington County Sheriff's Office)Firefighters battled an Aloha house fire on Friday, which involved a person jumping from a second-story window to escape. The fire appears to have started around 10 a.m. in a home on Southwest Sammy Drive near 187th. Firefighters are reporting no injuries from the two people inside the home at the time of the fire. The cause is under investigation. (KATU) Some Oregonians would rather quit than return to the office, reports Jamie Goldberg.
