BURR RIDGE, IL — A person told police Oct. 1 he was trying to park in the 500 block of Village Center Drive when a man standing near the parking space refused to move, according to a police report. The man then became belligerent, threw his coffee at the car and left in a black work truck, police said. The man was described as white, 35 years old, 6 feet, 230 pounds, and wearing a hard hat and construction vest. The victim did not want any further action from police, but said he was worried about the situation, according to the report.
