Press release from the City of Champaign: February 25, 2022 On August 15, 2020, at approximately 10:09 p.m., Champaign Police responded to the parking lot of Star Fox Liquor, located at 1005 West Bloomington Road for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 23-year-old male, identified as Christopher Kelly, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
