Press release from the City of Champaign: February 25, 2022 In line with Governor Pritzker's plans to lift the statewide indoor mask mandate next week, the City of Champaign will no longer require visitors or staff inside City facilities to wear a face covering starting on February 28, 2022. After that date, members of the public and City employees may choose to wear face masks inside City facilities, but they will not be required. The health and safety of the public and our employees remains a top priority, and anyone who was recently exposed to COVID-19, or is symptomatic, is encouraged to stay home and contact the City via phone or email for any customer service needs.
