Here are the top three stories today in Grand Rapids: In response to the unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine, Grand Rapids bars are ditching Russian vodka in favor of Ukrainian brands. Bob Quay, the owner of Bob's Bar, is promoting Ukraine's Vektor instead of the usual Russian Stolichnaya. The recent change has prompted new business for the bars. (The Detroit News)Grand Rapids' Upheaval Festival has announced its lineup. The festival will be in Belknap Park from Jul. 15-16 with Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Three Days Grace, Nothing More, and Theory. Tickets are currently available and can be purchased online. (localspins.com)A pedestrian was killed during a hit and run in the Grand Rapids area on Friday night. The Wyoming Department of Public Safety has identified the man as 62-year-old Kenneth Turpeau. He was transported to a local hospital but died from his critical injuries. Anyone with information regarding the hit and run is being directed to contact the Wyoming Department of Public Safety.
