I am currently starting an original band currently have a bassist and guitar player, and we are looking for a good, diverse drummer. We have a huge pool of influences from punk rock, blues, rnb, soul, indie rock (Blur, oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The smiths, gorillaz, Parliament, RHCP, Rick James) We're looking for someone dedicated and diverse. Go from playing RnB & trap or something slow and sway, to balls out rock Gender, sex, LGTBQ+ race do not matter here. Just be a good musician, keep a steady beat and open to ideas, 26-31 (thats around the bands age) willing to create, play whenever, where ever, and be an all around good person. There are enough of the shitty local "Rockstar" personalities in KC. 4/20 friendly, alcohol friendly, but prefer you do it after. No offense, im sure there are a lot of talented drummers in CL, but a lot think they play better when they're stoned, take it from me, most of you don't. we usually rehearse in peculiar because i have a nice big space, and decent drumset, and its free, but willing to rehearse anywhere that we all can agree one. if interested be sure to shoot me an email or shoot me the finger.
