Hi! My name is Laura. I'm a graduate from PSU; my major was Arts and Letters. For fifteen years, I have been working full-time and part-time for several different families with children from 3 months old to 12 years old, and I've worked at a daycare as well. I would prefer to work for a family living NW/downtown or close in. I should also mention that I do not have a driver's license (I walk and/or bus everywhere). However, I am comfortable taking the kids out via walking or public transportation (if that's ok with you). I love kids and tend to get a good response from them. I am positive, mellow, nurturing, light-hearted, and I handle stress well. I am CPR certified and I'm enrolled in the Central Background Registry. I have lots of experience with cloth diapers. I am cool with doing laundry. I am a great cook! Also, I'm a non-smoker. My rate is $18.00/hr. plus a little more for each additional child.
