I have a single adult (4-5”) L015 Pleco that I’m looking to re-home. These are a relatively uncommon omnivorous pleco. Peckoltia's come from South America and are hardy. They do best at 73-77F with PH 6.0-7.5. This small catfish-species prefers a dimly lit tank with a good number of hiding places. Planted tanks with drift wood, rocks or artificial (pleco spawning) caves are best. These guys are shy and peaceful (I’ve kept mine with shrimp with no problems). They would do well in a peaceful community tank or solitary. They feed mostly at dusk and will hide during the day particularly until they are comfortable. They are a striking fish (striped yellow-tan & brown) though making them totally worth keeping. The fish shown in pics is the one being offered. It is feeds well on shrimp pellets and O’Nip tabs.
