Description: - We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, sales and operations of the business. This position is responsible for staffing and day to day operations, overseeing warehouse and equipment maintenance, setting goals and objectives, implementing standard operating procedures, and generating and implementing ideas to increase productivity and sales. Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day operations, assisting crews on setting up/taking down events when necessary - Ensure efficiency and cleanliness of warehouse and rental equipment - Set policies and procedures - Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally - Oversee recruitment and training of new employees - Verify customers are satisfied and manage all dissatisfied customers to hear their concerns and create solutions to satisfy them - Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations - Design strategy and set goals for growth, and efficiency - Be flexible to tackle any other duties as assigned Skills: - 3+ years of experience in event/tent rental business - Customer service focused and driven - Excellent communication skills - Outstanding organizational and leadership skills - Excellent decision making and problem solving skills - Attention to detail and eagerness to do the job right Job Type: Full-time (Seasonal) Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Schedule: - As it is a seasonal job, expect longer weeks in Summer months, with setups typically Wed-Fri and takedowns typically Sun-Tues. - Winters OFF (January-March) Experience: - 3+ years of experience in event/tent rental business - Management: (Preferred) Work Location: Warehouse or Job Sites
