Wanting to start a band

So I’ll try to keep this short. I’ve been in bands before. Only been in one band that was pretty successful however we broke up due to drugs(guitarist was on drugs) and petty disagreements. I want to play drums this time around. I am really wanting to start a band in the genre of like a pop-metal core. Obviously I want to do something original and not just copy what another band has already done. Some examples are: IPrevail, Linkn Park, Red(not the Christian part of them just their sound), etc. Really looking to take this all the way this time. Not really just wanting to “only jam and locally gig”. Really want to do something I love in life. I’m looking for individuals who want to take this all the way. Who want to spend time on each song we write making it sound really good and not generic or empty sounding. Really looking for those who won’t quit out of nowhere or whenever they don’t like how something goes. Would like an individual who will compromise as much as I would.
