Rottweiler - experienced owners only

Before you read, I am considering only owners who have experience with Rottweilers. I have had Kavina as a long term foster in my home since she was 9 days old. I work in the veterinary industry and she was relinquished to my clinic after the owners were unable to take care of a litter. 8/10 puppies did not survive. At this point, I personally took on the care via incubation and bottle feeding every 2-4 hours for the first month of their lives. 1 of the puppies went to a veterinary professional at 12 weeks of age. The other stayed with me until I could find the right fit. Fast forward, COVID happened and I didn’t want to rehome her during that time as she needed structure and like most dogs purchased or adopted during COVID, I was fearful that she’d end up with separation anxiety after someone being home for months at a time or on the street/in a kennel the rest of her life. Kavina is well structured, knows sit, platz, here etc. she waits for her food until you release her with “okay.” Kavina is now 18 months old. I’m looking for an experienced Rottweiler owner who can take her on as a partner in life. She will not make a good guard dog / yard dog. She was raised in the home with cats and dogs. We’ve taken her on Jeep runs, hikes, camp outs… she has a great life, but it was never meant to be permanent and after losing my best friend, we have realised we can’t offer the emotional attachment that Kavina deserves. She is a sweetheart. Loves to cuddle, loves to sleep on the bed, or couch. Wherever you are, she will be. She has a stubborn streak and requires some understanding but also needs a naturally alpha human. She is spayed, and has all vaccines to date. Next round of distemper, Parvo & rabies is due in 9 months from now. She will interview any prospective owners for a match. Texts preferred until serious about adopting her. Rehoming fee to ensure a good home that can afford the needs of a Rottie.
