Seeking musicians! Johnny Cash meets the Violent Femmes? Possibly. If you know these two acts then you may have an idea of what I am working toward. I am looking for Milwaukee area musicians to join me in a project that is an extension of my band the Rockabilly Rebels. In search of a bassist, drummer, lap/pedal steel, etc, (I am open to other instruments) to work with me on my solo music. I have shows lined up this summer (some of which are with the Rebels) and I am adding more dates. Between band, solo, duo and trio I did 30 shows last year, 11 shows during the pandemic (2020) and 21 shows in 2019. My website has all the previous dates and places I have played along with a ton of other info. Prefer: Musicians that can focus on this project and help promote, book, do the social media thing, etc. Must have: - A music driven, positive and professional attitude - The drive to learn/work on the songs outside of practice - No drugs/alcohol while working on the music. Music first, party later. Age/gender doesn’t matter however I am over 50… but act like 13 A passion for old school country, rockabilly, dash of punk and rock and roll.
