While I’ve been teaching guitar for 15 years this year marks my 56th year playing (Yikes!!). That means I started in 1966 which gives you a good idea as to the music I grew up with. I played all through college but majored in something else. Then in my later 20’s I went back to school specifically for music. I went through the whole music major curriculum at the local JCs and SJSU but, since I already had a bachelor’s degree, didn’t go through the non-music prerequisites to get a second one. Well versed in AC DC, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Metallica, e t c. Also country music material, Alabama, Diamond Rio, Shenandoah, Ronnie Milsap, George Strait, e t c.Influences include, but not limited to Sevendust, Killswitch Engage, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Pantera, As I Lay Dying, Bullet For My Valentine, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Led Zeppelin, BT, Lincoln Park, Soundgarden, STP, Alice In Chains, Lacuna Coil, Faith No More, Tool and NIN.. We have no interest in drama, stress or over-inflated egos, especially during these trying times. I am a professional drummer looking for dedicated and committed conjunto musicians who are interested in starting a band in the Central Texas area. I am looking for people with accordion, bajo sexto, and bass guitar experience and who are interested in rehearsing, recording original music, and getting booked for paid gigs along the way.
