Performs housekeeping activities throughout clubhouse buildings that result in clean, well-maintained environment for members and employees.
Essential Functions of Job:
Radio communication. Physical requirements: Occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs. Physically able to push vacuum, carpet shampooers, etc. as well as reach high and low areas. Continuous movement such as walking throughout duration of shift. Occasional use of manually operated tools. Able to follow verbal & written instructions
Principal Job Responsibilities:
1. Handles routine housekeeping duties and performs assigned tasks in timely and consistent manner
2. Completes tasks as outlined on housekeeping checklist in time, consistent manner generally following a pre-determined timeframe. Ensures quality standards are upheld. Inspects and monitors assigned areas for cleanliness/orderliness.
3. Answers radio calls promptly and consistently. Responds to calls and/or requests to handle immediate/urgent housekeeping problems.
4. Uses equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet shampooers, and manual tools in maintaining club furnishings or facilities.
5. Performs duties for other departments as assigned by supervisor, including set-up and teardown activities.
6. Follows club and departmental procedures, club guidelines and club safety practices.
7. Performs related housekeeping tasks, procedures and communications in timely and effective manner to ensure smooth operation which facilitates positive member/guest relations.
Essential Education and Experience Requirements:
1. Ability to interact in professional manner to club members, guests, and all levels of internal staff.
2. At least two years high School coursework or equivalent
3. Literate in written English as well as effective verbal skills in English language.
4. Able to meet shift scheduling requirements
5. Minimum six months experience performing similar tasks.
