It breaks my heart but I have to rehome my sweet Toby. We rescued him from NAW in June but unfortunately he is not a good fit for our family. He is a basset hound pitbull mix, about 40lbs and about 2 years old. Neutered and up to date on shots. Toby would do best as the only pet in the home or with a playmate close to his size and age. He chases cats but has never hurt one. The reason we have to rehome him is because he cornered our new puppy and hurt him. He is a great playmate to our bigger dog but I can’t risk him hurting our innocent puppy again, and we are scared that he could do the same to one of our cats. Toby is 100% housebroken and crate trained. He knows “sit” but his leash manners could be improved. He loves chewing on bones and stuffed kongs and he loves running around our big yard. He is very cuddly and adores hugs and being on your lap. Toby comes with his bed, crate, some favorite Nylabones, leash/collar/harness, and I can send food too. We are located in Norman but I’m willing to drive anywhere in the metro in order for him to find a good home. 💔 Please reply by email if you can give him a good home.
