Capitol Hill Restoration Society Walking Tours - March 2022 Series Capitol Hill Restoration Society was founded 60 years ago to help preserve and protect the historic neighborhood’s architectural and residential character. This spring we added a new event to our annual calendar - Tour of Tours, walking tours that highlight the rich history, architecture, and stories that make up the fabric of our community. Join us this March for our fourth series of guided walking tours. Reservations now available through March 24th at 5pm. If you can't attend this event, follow us on Instagram and on our website Capitol Hill Restoration Society for details about our organization and other events in the community. The last tour sold out several days in advance and ticket sales for this event will close on March 24th. So, if you want to go (and we hope you do!) don’t delay in confirming your plans. Tour Highlights: Architecture of Capitol Hill: learn about the rich variety and interplay of style and function in this historic neighborhoodCapitol Hill Alleys: a trip back in time to explore the workaday world of both residential and commercial usesOur Industrial Past: visit the remaining traces of past industrial and commercial operations; you may have walked by them and wondered about their origins.Event FAQ: Event starting locations will be available on the website and added to Eventbrite by or before March 20th. It will also be emailed to you.By midnight on March 24th, detailed event information and FAQ will be provided by email, along with starting location. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive it. If you have not received it by noon on March 25, please email [email protected] and include your phone number if you need an immediate response.Ticket sales are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person. To transfer ticket sales, have the new person bring your original ticket confirmation with them on the day of the event. No need to contact us.Your ticket confirmation title will detail out what tour you are on, what day the tour is on, and what time the tour is on.While we love all dogs big and small, we ask that you don’t bring your pup on the tour with you. These tours run rain or shine! While we don’t anticipate any wet weather, we will reach out in the circumstance of inclement weather that could pose danger to the tour guide or attendees for reschedule dates.We will manage mask mandates or COVID19 restrictions based on the recommendations of the CDC and Mayor Bowser and keep in accordance with any laws in place in DC at the time.Your email address may be used only to contact you about future CHRS events or for feedback on this event.
