Hi. I like Stereolab and Fugazi and noisier elements and quieter elements. Crazy Horse / Lightning Bolt/ Karen Dalton / Throbbing Gristle / Heat Miser/Elliot Smith / Palace Music / The Kinks / Angel Olsen / Brian Eno / Debussey / tight archaic harmonies / 60's Girl groups / The Louvin Brothers / Husker Du / Carol King...dead sounding drums, bombastic blown out room sounding drums.... The house I grew up in was filled with (only) country music and when I discovered my own aesthetic course (punk mostly at that point) I rejected all that. But...now as I've gotten older, I believe that genre's are for capitalists, the bereft of spirit and the unimaginative. Curiosity is my apprehensive companion. I like the evocative. I also play a little piano and keys and guitar. So if you are into switching off I might / could be convinced. I have a space. With an amp. I'm also not opposed to trying my hand at playing along with loops (which I've not done much of). -don't be a bigot or close minded. I'd rather keep company with the radical than the complacent. .....Lets fuck around and find out! (but let's chat first to see if it's at all a good fit)
