Can anyone explain to me what the scam is? Looking through the Y T Marketplace I see many cars, trucks and boats for sale at stupid low prices. Many of the vehicles are worth thousands more than they are asking. I'm not new to the auto business but what I want to know is what is their game?
I look and see a perfect vehicle that should be selling for say $14000. and they are asking to get maybe $6500. for it. You see the same situation with other things for sale, like a $1900. Miller welder for $450.. Most of these "deals" are in Phila. PA.. I can only imagine a scenario where you show up to check out the item and they pull a gun on you and rob you.
I don't hear or see these robberies on the evening news. so what's the deal? Can anyone explain the scam ?
