Biden Lifetime Achievment Award Honoree, as the founder of The Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation which provides critical resources, including advocacy, to DC-based Jazz musicians, venues, and music education programs. The Sonic Lifeline is thrilled to present saxophonist Herb Scott and his Quartet inThe Hemingway Room @Little Havana's inaugural Jazz show. Herb Scott is a star on the Washington, D.C. Jazz scene. While studying at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts under the award-winning educator Davey Yarborough, he performed with renowned trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and Jazz pianist Herbie Hancock. The 50-seat cabaret-style setting offers a private bar and serves the full restaurant menu. Over 20 years after opening, Little Havana has become a landmark in South Baltimore, serving dinner and lunch 7 days a week year-round, with brunch on the weekends. Little Havana continues to be an important part of the fabric of Federal Hill and the surrounding neighborhoods and welcomes The Sonic Lifeline Jazz Series to the Hemingway Room.
