Press release from the City of Strongsville: Republic Waste is not collecting trash Tuesday, Dec. 1 due to the snowstorm. Crews will double up on routes on Wednesday, picking up both Tuesday AND Wednesday routes that day. Thursday and Friday routes will be collected as usual, on their regular days. We apologize for any confusion. Republic initially said collection would be delayed one day for the rest of the week, but changed the plan to avoid calling in crews to work on Saturday. For residents: If your trash is normally collected on Tuesday or Wednesday, set it out this week on Wednesday.
