Can we find new words, new paradigms that can help explain most American Jews today? In a post-denominational era, we feel this is critical.
In our post-religious age, the boxes and labels of self-identification open up and the possibilities are endless. Secular Judaism is a term with a rich history, theology, depth and practice, but we need more. The call for fluidity in thought and practice is urgent and we feel called to the task!
This program is for curious people who like to think and do outside the box: "Only Jews" or "cultural Jews" or "non-religious Jews" - we need better structures to explain who American Jews are today.
During our meetings we will learn, share, think and create. No background needed!
