Lorin Rowan leads on mandolin and guitar, with Kirk Casey on lead guitar and keyboards, and Eric McCann on bass and Matt Willis on drums. Come and jam away with us. See them live at Almost Famous Wine Lounge, an award-winning, new tasting room and venue located on Vasco Road in the heart of Livermore's wine, spirits and brewery district. Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned 26 top industry awards since its debut last year. About Lorin Rowan & Deep Blue Jam Mandolin based Americana/ Rock/Roots/ Reggae, Jam Band. Songwriter Lorin Rowan (lead vocals, mandolin, guitar) has played with iconic and diverse musicians Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Vince Herman & Leftover Salmon, Steve Miller, Levon Helm, David Grisman, Bill Kreutzman, Jim Keltner, and Steve Cropper. Lorin is also notably one of the three Rowan Brothers, along with his brothers Peter & Chris. He is one of the founding members of legendary San Francisco band “The Edge,” and his songs have been covered by Marty Balin of Jefferson Starship and bluegrass icon Ricky Skaggs. Kirk Casey (lead guitar, keyboards, and vocals) has notably recorded music for many of the blockbuster iconic Sims computer and video games, and played with Jerry Martin, Kenneth Nash, Celso Alberti, Tim Gorman, Past members of Santana, Steve Miller, Journey, Tower of Power and many more. Joining them on bass is Eric McCann, who has recorded with Carlos Santana, Bonnie Rait, Sugar Pie DeSanto, Sammy Hagar, Charlie Musclewhite, Tommy Castroy, and the Edge.
