BUFFALO GROVE, IL—Pauline Avenue has reopened to traffic following a dumpster truck fire Thursday morning, according village officials. Earlier, the road was temporarily closed between Rt. 83 (McHenry) and Weiland Road as police and firefighters responded to the scene. Drivers were asked to initially avoid the area. It's not clear what caused the dumpster truck to catch on fire. Patch has reached out to village officials for additional information. ALERT: Pauline Avenue is now open.
