Have you visited our land bridge yet? Join us for a guided nature hike with our in-house educator, Mr. David! Meet at the Salado Outdoor Classroom. The group will walk to the Land Bridge and back, stopping at a handful of points of interest like our Wildlife Blinds, Phil's Tree, and the Salado Creek Overlook. When we return to the classroom, we'll learn the basics of bugs and how to identify different species, from friendly to ferocious. What To Expect Our guided hikes are approximately an hour and a half long and follow ADA-accessible trails.Please wear close-toed shoes and bring some water to drink! Restrooms are available near the parking lot. This event is limited to 30 people, please register all family members that plan to attend. Phil Hardberger Park is a natural area park in the heart of San Antonio’s north side. It is an island of green in a sea of urban development. There are 330 acres and over seven miles of trail to explore.
