Guests will have the opportunity to purchase food & drink from Split-Rail during gameplay. All attendees must provide proof of vaccination and wear masks when moving throughout the space. The Martin & Split-Rail are both ADA accessible locations. Doors for the event open at 5:30 - please arrive early to get seated, start a tab and be ready for gameplay to start right at 6pm! Adventure Served: The Great Knucklehead Rally To fight the despair brought on by the Everlasting Rime, an eccentric dwarf sponsors a fishing tournament she calls the “Great Knucklehead Rally.” The event draws the curious, the hopeful, and the cynical alike. And it also draws unexpected guests who’ll test the attendees’ mettle. This epic adventure means your table's successes or failures will have an effect on other tables, good or bad. Character sheets will be provided. All you need to bring is yourself and your appetite(for adventure and amazing food). Your Dungeon Masters: Caito Aase (they/she) has been an obsessive D&D player since their brother made the deadly mistake of introducing them to this magical game back in 2018. Since then, favorite campaigns Caito has DM’d include the long-running Curse of Strahd and a special homebrew featuring a charming pacifist goat Tiefling Druid and a marvelously neurotic and nihilistic Kenku Gloomstalker. When Caito isn’t playing D&D (a very rare occasion), she is an actor with Big Mouth Talent, a company member with Plan 9 Burlesque, and an avid horror fan. Favorite fandoms include Hannibal, Good Omens, Star Wars, and The Witcher. As a DM, they are a True Neutral. But as a human, they are unabashedly Chaotic Neutral… so the chaos can bleed over into gameplay, in the best way. Pavi Proczko (he/him) is an actor, singer and audiobook narrator. He has been bringing his acting and storytelling skills to the world of DnD since 2018, running up to 10 different campaigns at once. Worlds of fantasy and magic have always interests him, from fantasy novels, to video games, to movies and TV. Pavi first encountered Table top RPGs with first edition DND back in the 90s. Since getting back into it in 2018, DnD has been his primary game, but he’s very interested in Fate Core and Dungeon World and often uses elements of each in his running his campaigns. Aiyanna Wade is a Chicago based performer and instructor. You may recognize her from the YouTube Channel Awesome or various panel appearances at C2E2 and Wizard World. With a performance background including Annoyance Theatre, Second City Chicago’s Conservatory, and a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Aiyanna is no stranger to improvisation and role playing. Most recently co-running a youth RPG & Cosplay summer camp, Aiyanna has taught other nerd-based youth workshops such as Lightsaber, Wand, and Bat’leth. In her free time she enjoys “indoor time” with TTRPG friends, cosplaying at SciFi Conventions, and her annual excursion to Bristol Ren Faire. Sarah Moore is an actor/model/voice over artist/content creator that is based in the Chicago area. By day, she works for The World of Chaldea (a multimedia fantasy project helmed by Peter Adkison out of Seattle, WA). Sarah also streams actual play sessions for Level Up TTV in partnership with 9th Level Games. While Dungeons and Dragons will always have her heart, she also loves exploring alternative systems. Telling stories with like-minded folk is what drew her to ttrpgs in the first place, and it’s the reason why she continues to put so much time and love into it. The Martin is an artist-first community space located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago.
