Description
We love these sweet birds but unfortunately we are moving and taking them with us is not an option. No rehoming fee but I want to be confident they are going to good homes that are able to properly take care of them. 1. 2 males, around 5 months old, brothers and bonded. One is closer to a wild type and the other is pure white. They come with their wire cage for free if you want it. but they would also be very happy in a 40 gallon tank with a lid or any other enclosure around that same size. They would do very well in a home without other button quail, as males are more quiet and tame without females around. 2. 1 male (5 months) and one 1 female (1.5 years old) pair. The female is a super dark almost black brown color, and the male is grey with a red/pink belly. The male is missing feathers on his head but he isn't injured and I think they will grow back with time. She didn't like him at first but I had them in a cage with a divider for a while and they got used to each other. They are more like roommates than mates but they get along just fine. She is currently still laying eggs 3. 1 male (5 months) and 2 females (8 months). The male is redbreasted, the females are cinnamon and white. Both of the females lay eggs pretty frequently. We also have some enclosures you are welcome to if you want the birds. They aren't amazing but they are free. - a 3ft by 1.5ft by 1.5ft wire cage made out of 1/2 inch wire cloth. It works well for keeping the birds in but wood shavings and other bedding fall out the sides. Its really light weight so you may have to weigh it down with something to keep it from getting knocked over. holds up to 3 birds. - a 40 gallon front opening glass enclosure. One of the doors is sealed shut and it has no lid so we have been using a window screen as a lid. You might be able to buy an actual lid for it online or maybe at a pet store if you want one. holds up to 3 birds - A metal cage with a plastic base, a little smaller than the other two. Opens from the front and top. holds up to 2 birds. On wheels. - A larger tractor that might be good for coturnix or buttons. Doesnt have a bottom. Holds up to maybe 8 buttons or 4 coturnix. I'd guess its 2 by 2 by 4 ft but ill actually measure it later. I'll want to make sure you are aware of what to feed them and how to house them before I rehome any of them. Please include that information in your email. I'll check my email and update this post daily
