Description
A hands on class for bakers of all skill levels to learn how to make croissants. Learn how to make flaky, buttery, soft croissants. In this class we will cover everything from making and laminating dough to assembling and baking our croissants. Together with Pastry Chef Mia, you will make 3 different types: classic croissants, ham & gruyer, and pain au chocolat. This class is perfect for cooks of all skill levels from beginner to pro. Chef MiaThis class is a taught by Chef Mia. Chef Mia brings in ten years of professional pastry experience to our team! Chef Mia has worked under the guidance of former Jean Georges Executive Pastry Chef, Johnny Luzzini and Pink Cakebox owner, Anne Heap. She is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan and owns cake boutique business and specializes on custom cakes and desserts. She is very excited to teach our pastry classes and share her culinary expertise with you. About Maricel's KitchenMaricel loves to cook and shares her passion with others so she started Maricel's Kitchen. Maricel's Kitchen classes are perfect events for a girls night out, a get together with friends, or to enhance your skills and understanding of food. Maricel's Classes are perfect for cooks of all skill levels. Whether you are just setting out or a seasoned professional, Maricel will help you learn the flavors and techniques that make foods so exciting. Classes are hands on and interactive. Participants will receive their very own Maricel's Kitchen Apron and a packet of recipes for the dishes they created. Maricel ends all her classes with everyone sitting down to enjoy the meal they just created. It is a perfect end to the event and gives everyone a chance to socialize and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Terms & ConditionsClasses start promptly and we ask that all participants arrive about fifteen minutes early to check in and get settled. Due to limited space and the upfront costs of food, our classes and events are only refundable 7 days before event start date. If within 7 days of event start date you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. The event organizer has the right to cancel class within 3 days of event start date if a minimum of 3 attendees is not met. Should the class be cancelled, participants will be offered to select another cooking class of equal or lesser value. Thank you.
