Maddie Poppe is a twenty-four-year-old singer-songwriter from Clarksville, Iowa and Season 16 winner of American Idol. Maddie fell in love with music at a young age, learning to play guitar, ukulele and piano. In 2016, Maddie released her debut album, “Songs from the Basement,” which she wrote, produced and recorded alongside her father, Trent. After years of performing locally in Iowa, she decided to audition for American Idol and was ultimately crowned the winner in May 2018. Since her Idol victory, Maddie has appeared on multiple TV shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live, Live! With Kelly & Ryan and the Radio Disney Music Awards and the Kelly Clarkson Show. Maddie’s sophomore album Whirlwind reached #2 on the iTunes Pop charts and her single “Made You Miss” earned #19 on the Hot AC Radio charts. Her sentimental ballad “Not Losing You” also swept radio charts, reaching #17. In Fall 2019, Maddie supported Ingrid Michaelson on The Dramatic Tour, an experience she calls a dream come true. Hoping to brighten the 2020 holiday season, Maddie released a holiday EP aptly titled Christmas From Home on November 20th and embarked on a near-sold out acoustic Christmas tour. Maddie is currently working on new music! To learn more about Keeley & Kambry's Tribe>> Facebook: Keeley & Kambry's Tribe Instagram: kktribe_22 Keeley and Kambry's Tribe provides hope, awareness, coaching for expectant mothers, medically fragile & children living with disabilities, advocacy & a financial support for families far beyond pregnancy and the NICU journey. Our mission is to spread the message that viability has changed through sharing Keeley & Kambry’s miraculous journey. Why was KK Tribe created?? Keeley and Kambry are identical (Mono/Di) twins who were diagnosed with Twin To Twin Transfusion Syndrome in utero at 16 weeks gestation. Jade, their Mother, underwent surgery at 18 weeks gestation at the Cincinnati Fetal Center to correct the TTS. The surgery wassuccessful. This prolonged the pregnancy by 4 weeks and the girls were born 125 days premature at 22 weeks and 1 day. The twins were born November 24, 2018. The girls had wha the NICU calls a "text book" recovery. Kambry (Donor twin) spent 138 days in the NICU, Keeley (Recipient twin) spent 144 days in the NICU. Keeley lives with Intermittent extropia, Strabismic amblyopia; right eye, Hyperopia of both eyes and Anisometropia which are complications due to Bilateral ROP. Kambry lives with Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy, Autism, an oral aversion, and a Receptive Expressive Language Disorder. Keeley & Kambry are paving the way for Micro Preemie's and proving to the World that Viability has in fact changed. From our Founder - Jade Ewoldt: "Part of my mission with Keeley & Kambry's Tribe is sharing our story to help save more babies + we solely dedicated to saving more babies with urgency. It's critical that this approach get into every NICU in the country to help increase their skills and knowledge. With our platform I hope to work to provide more resources to help not only families but medical professionals have access to education + training." Thank you for the love + support!! -Jade | Founder Come enjoy good food, networking and a good night to raise money for a great cause!! https://fb.me/e/1uGjqNfwI
