The Art of Storytelling Larry Dean Harris has been spinning stories and enchanting audiences for more than 10 years from coast to coast, but mostly in Los Angeles (where his hot arts salon STRONG WORDS just celebrated its 10th anniversary) and Palm Springs at the Palm Springs Art Museum and CV Rep Playhouse. He also teaches storytelling and – for this special event – will share tricks of the trade, a few fun interactive creative exercises and, of course, STORIES. Come ready to laugh and fall in love with the Art of the Story. AND - if you're interested in being a storyteller - Harris is looking for students for an upcoming workshop. Artists can be a little bashful when it comes to talking about themselves or their art. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. However, being able to tell your point of view or how you came to where you are is a powerful tool. Storytelling allows your audience to connect and relate in a way that can add oodles of value to your work and deepen an understanding of who you are. You need not be an artist to play. Anyone can benefit from the art of storytelling.
