Whether it’s the diary of ten-year-old Carrie Berry describing the Union shelling of Atlanta in the summer of 1864 or the photograph of a devastated Old Fourth Ward taken right after the Atlanta Fire of 1917, Kenan Research Center at Atlanta History Center tells the story of Atlanta. Join us for a tour through manuscripts, photographs, maps, newspapers, and books that document the history of this ever-changing city.
