It's a two-day celebration of Slavic culture at the 35th Annual Sugar Creek Slavic Festival. Located 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City, there's something for everyone. Feast on sarma, povitica, kolache, kielbasa. Watch traditional dance groups and musicians. Dance a kolo or polka. Toast with a pivo or shot of slivovic. And visit and learn more about Slavic heritage.
Friday June 10th - 5pm to 11pm features: Brian McCarty Band, Sugar Creek Ethnic Dance Troupe, We Like Pivo, and the Kielbasa Eating Contents.
Friday June 11th - 12pm to 11pm features: Kolograd, Sugar Creek Ethnic Dance Troupe, Hvratski Obicaj, Sugar Creek Tamburitzans, Baric Brothers, Ukraine Dancers, the Cabbage Roll Contest and more.
Admission is $5 (children under 12 free)
