The Chili cook-off is a fundraiser for the Educated Citizen Project, a non-profit committed to assisting parents and teachers who want to teach American history, government, and traditional civics from primary source documents. Ticket price: $15. Entry fee for competition: $25. Prizes awarded for chili competition. Ticket price includes sampling cups and 1 bowl for chili, fruit cobbler, and beverage. VFW Bingo begins at 3:00 p.m.
