Monthly Maintenance Work Day: Welding Bays Edition! What is Monthly Maintenance Day?Monthly Maintenance Day is a day when everyone gathers to observe how we can clean and improve the metal shop! Since this is such a large task, we've broken it down into manageable (maybe?) bite sizes. Below is this month's "theme" and tasks we'll be tackling on project day. In addition, there will be tasks listed that members can pick-up on their own time, and questions to get folks thinking about ideas to improve the space. March is Welding Bay Maintenance Month! Project Day Tasks Replacing parts on welders we noted from February Maintenance DayPut velcro on curtains to help them stay together Re-hang curtain parts that have fallen, put stops where they’re falling through Mount signs for welder safety Sweep, clean area Take light in tig welding bay down, put new one upAdding arms to the TIG welder cart to make it easier to hang leads Grind table down Have another idea you’d like to see in the welding bays?
