Agent Orange: Do Not Forget Me - Vietnam Memorial Day -Multimedia presentation performance by Namaya Vietnam era veteran, poet & artist March 29, 2022 7-8:pm PM Multimedia Presentation, Performance and a follow up discussion on Agent Orange and the Journey to Forgiveness by Namaya, a Vietnam-era Veteran, poet, performance artist, peace activist, and designer of the Agent Orange Project. In late 2022, Namaya and the B4 Peace team will return to Vietnam to install an art project at the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, This project on Agent Orange is endorsed by Veterans for Peace and undertaken in cooperation with other leading agencies working to assist those with Agent Orange disease. Namaya said, “Our goals are to increase knowledge, and financial support regarding the ongoing environmental and cost of the US military’s chemical defoliant Agent Orange sprayed over Vietnam during the Vietnam War.” The Agent Orange chemical warfare program left enormous environmental damage and caused significant health problems for Vietnamese, Laotians, Cambodians, and US military Veterans. Over 2 million individuals are suffering from Agent Orange Syndrome in Vietnam. Two million veterans in the USA have AO syndrome. While many American veterans receive compensation from the US government for AO syndrome, the Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian victims do not receive compensation.
