Lost or reduced employment, food shortages, difficulty paying utility bills and mental health impacts. Given the projected long-term nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is likely that many residents will eventually feel the impacts and require outside support. To that end, Richfield recently launched two online resource lists to assist residents and local business owners. The comprehensive list includes resources to help with: Housing support for renters and homeowners Food support Utility bill support Senior resources Legal help Healthcare and health insurance resources Mental health resources Unemployment insurance Information about restaurants and internet availability Find the list of resident resources here. In addition, a separate page exists with multiple resources to aid small businesses as they navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. The Small Business Resources can be found at here. If residents know of a local resource that should be added to the list, please email the information to [email protected]. This press release was produced by the City of Richfield.
