Description
BRADENTON, FL — Two burglars posing as pest control workers stole items from several Bradenton condominiums Thursday morning.
Between 9 a.m. and noon, two men entered several condos in the Pinebrook Ironwood neighborhood and at River Oaks Condominiums, Bradenton police said in a news release.
The suspects convinced residents that they were hired by property management to treat their homes. Once inside, one suspect distracted the residents, convincing them to move furniture to spray, while the other suspect stole items from the home, police said.
Investigators believe the suspects were driving a dark-colored 2019 or newer model Chevrolet Silverado with a cover on the bed and a trailer hitch. A third suspect drove and stayed in the vehicle, while the other two went into the homes. The suspects wore gloves and masks during these crimes.
Anyone who has information about the case is asked to contact Detective Jay Gow or Detective Todd Freed at 941-932-9373 or 941-932-9370.
