Press release from the Waterford Public Library: February 12, 2022 This lecture has been postponed. A future date in April has not yet been determined. The border between Northern Ireland (part of the UK) and the Republic of Ireland (in the EU) presents challenges for all parties in fully implementing Brexit. Paul Nugent will provide an update on this issue in the context of Irish-British-EU (and US) relations, and the ongoing Centenary Commemorations of Irish independence. This is an hour presentation with Q & A following. Paul Nugent is Executive Director of the Southeast Connecticut World Affairs Council (SECWAC).
