BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt. ARRESTS LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT WITH PROPERTY DAMAGE Roman Faltushanskiy, 57, of the 25900 block of Arrowhead Drive, Mundelein, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, failure to give aid or information at a vehicle accident, operating an uninsured vehicle, and was arrested at 7:48 p.m. Nov. 13 at Northwest Recovery, 4050 Industrial Ave., Rolling Meadows. His bond was set at $2,500, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 18. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL Bibiana Palomo-Carlin, 21, of the 3500 block of Crestwood, Carpentersville, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, failure to reduce speed, a median violation, and was arrested at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 15 at Northwest Community Hospital. Her bond was set at $1,000, and she was assigned a court date of Dec. 9 in Waukegan. Eugene Yukhvid, 39, of the 300 block of Chenault, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to yield turning left, and was arrested at 7 p.m. Nov. 16. His bond was set at $3,000, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 2 in Waukegan. Bryan D. Chavez Bahena, 23, of the 400 block of E Hiloton Avenue, Addison, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, marijuana possession less than 10 grams, disobeying a police order, driver's license not on person, operating an uninsured vehicle, and was arrested at 11:24 p.m. Nov. 14 at Arlington Heights and Dundee roads. His bond was set at $3,000, and he was signed a court date of Dec. 2. DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE Brittany B. Binion, 29, of the 1100 block of Fleetwood Drive, Elgin, is accused of driving on a suspended/revoked license, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper start of a stopped vehicle, and was arrested at 6:38 p.m. Nov. 19. Her bond was set at $2,500, and she was assigned a court date of Dec. 18 in Mundelein. THEFT Oksana Levi, 52, of the 1200 block of Brandywyn Lane, Buffalo Grove, is accused of theft, and was arrested at 12:53 p.m. Nov. 17 at Woodman's Market, 1550 E Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove. Her bond was set at $1,500, and she was assigned a court date of Dec. 18 in Mundelein. INCIDENTS PUBLIC COMPLAINT — INDOOR DINING VIOLATIONS Police were called to Prairie House, 2710 Main St., at 11:31 p.m. Nov. 13 following a complaint of customers inside the business. Upon arrival, police found 20-30 customers inside the bar area and several staff members. According to police, some of the staff were wearing masks, but none of the customers were. The bar area was packed, so social distancing wasn't being practiced either. Police said they spoke with the manager, advising him to follow the governor's and village's order regarding coronavirus guidelines. Police asked the manager to clear out the establishment and a report would be forwarded to the village administration for further review. Police were called to Continental Restaurant, 788 Buffalo Grove Road, at 11:31 a.m. Nov. 17 following a complaint the restaurant was serving people indoors. Upon arrival, police discovered seven people sitting at booths and tables spread out in the dining room. Police met with the owner, who immediately encouraged patrons to leave. He told police the dining room would be closed with no more indoor seating. VANDALISM Police responded to the Children's Park, 1000 Fremont Way, at 1:20 p.m. Nov. 19 regarding graffiti at the playground. Park District officials were attempting to remove the graffiti, consisting of drawings of a banana and two oranges. BURGLARY A resident in the 2800 block of Dunstan Lane called 911 at 2:38 p.m. Nov. 18 to report a burglary in process at their residence. The resident was watching live security footage from inside her home of two people also inside. A gray/silver Jeep Grand Cherokee was sitting in the driveway of the residence, but was gone before police arrived. Upon arrival, police found the front was forced open with damage to the door frame and door. While searching for the suspects, police found the master bedroom door forced open and the room was ransacked. The suspects were not located.
