Update 9:45 a.m. GREENWICH, CT — According to an update from the Greenwich Police Department Saturday morning, the issue with the routing of 911 phone calls has been fixed and 911 is operable again. On Friday night, the department said a technical issue were impacting the routing of emergency calls to the proper jurisdiction statewide. Original post According to the Greenwich Police Department, a technical issue is affecting the routing of 911 calls to the proper jurisdictions statewide. If residents are having trouble reaching the GPD for an emergency, the department said it can be reached directly at 203-622-8002. The GPD said it will issue another notification when the problem has been resolved. Repairs are in progress, they said.
