Here are the top three stories today in Burlington: A developer is suing South Burlington over controversial zoning regulations. The new regulations were passed earlier this month, and developer Jeff Davis is arguing that the process was flawed. According to Davis, one of the five city councilors had a conflict of interest throughout the process, and he is seeking to undo the zoning amendments. (vtdigger.org)Burlington is planning to use Tax Increment Financing (TIF) bond money to reimagine Main Street. City officials are hoping that residents will approve of a $25.9 million bond to install art, rain gardens, cafe-style seating, and wooden swings along the street. The TIF would not increase residents' taxes, according to officials. (Seven Days)The Burlington School District (BSD) has published numerous resources designed to give voters all the information they need to vote on the School District's proposed budget. The District's most recent Annual Report is now available online, along with high-level and detailed information about the budget for next school year. Hard copies of the report are available at Fletcher Free Library, the Miller Center, and City Hall.
