Drummer looking to join established cover band

Description
Hi all, I'm looking to join an established cover band in need of a drummer. I would prefer rock and pop. Don't care if it's classic or modern, although it would be nice to play a mix. Unlike a lot of musicians, I'm happy playing anything. I don't care if it's Sweet Home Alabama for the 1000th time. As long as the audience is having fun, I'm having fun. I've been playing since middle school (currently in my mid 30s). I had private instruction throughout middle school and high school. I played in a collegiate level marching band. I can read and write music. I've been part of various cover bands over the years, but only 1 of which had moderate success. I can play to a metronome and/or click track. I have pro-level drums/cymbals and have my own set of microphones/cables if we do our own sound. I already know a bunch of top 40 songs from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. I have a full time job and family, so my flexibility can be limited. However, in general, I can contribute at least 1 weeknight or weekend to the band. I'm looking to gig around 2-3 times a month. Could potentially do more depending on the situation. I'm happy to play in bars/clubs, but I aspire to play weddings, festivals, and/or corporate gigs. Most importantly, I have NO ego. Totally serious. I love playing drums and I love playing with people who are talented and enjoy the rehearsal process. I can learn songs fast, especially if they are songs I'm familiar with. I can also improvise jam. I'm not a flake! If I say I can show up, I will show up on time. In the past, I have mainly joined startup bands and worked from there. Unfortunately, band drama between other members would result in the band breaking up within a few months. This is not the best way to invest my time. So now I have a new strategy: join a band where the other members already like each other. I'm easy to get along with. So if you want to start gigging in 2-3 months, I could be your guy! My weaknesses: I don't have a lot of connections. My ability to get gigs is limited. I don't have a great rehearsal space. If we are desperate for a space, we can use my place. If you are established, I'm happy to put up money towards a rental studio. I don't play double pedal bass pedal. Love the simplicity of single pedal. As such, I'm not a good choice for metal, etc. So if you are a serious band who is ready to move forward with gigging, please respond to this ad and we will get a conversation going! Thanks.
