MISSION VIEJO, CA — A student was detained in connection to a stabbing at Trabuco Hills High School late Friday afternoon, the Orange County Register reported.
The stabbing occurred around 1 p.m. and stemmed from a fight between two male students at the Mission Viejo campus. The student who was stabbed received non-life-threatening injuries, the paper reported.
Trabuco Hills High School briefly issued a shelter-in-place order in connection to the stabbing, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said.
The sheriff's department called the stabbing "an isolated incident."
