MALIBU, CA — Salvador "Chuck" Becerra on Friday announced a sudden resignation from his role as captain of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Lost Hills station, The Acorn reported. Becerra will move over to the county's Norwalk station — a station in need of a tenured captain after responding to three shootings in the past 30 days.
