Press release from the City of Eden Prairie: 02/25/2022 Arbor Day Tree Sale The City of Eden Prairie is partnering with Tree Trust to offer trees for sale to residents. The online sale opens at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 2. Trees available through this program range in size from 4 to 8-feet tall, depending on species, and must be planted on private property. You, or someone on your behalf, must pick up your order at Round Lake Park between 9–11 a.m. Saturday, April 30. Plan ahead by looking at the Tree Sale Preview. Lt. Chris Wood Promoted to Police Department Captain The EPPD is proud to announce that Lt. Chris Wood has been promoted to captain effective Feb. 26, replacing Bill Wyffels who retired in November. Read more about Lt. Wood. Last Call for Human Rights Award Nominations The City is accepting nominations for the annual Human Rights Award through 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28. The award recognizes inspiring efforts that work to promote human rights and diversity, and to create an inclusive community spirit.
